Have you ever wondered who pulls together all the incredible student events at UWEC? Well, we have the scoop, and the best news is that it is in large part Blugolds themselves — the students on the committees of the University Activities Commission.
91 is doubling down on its commitment to 91 – Barron County in response to Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman’s charge to work with branch campuses to determine how they can better serve their communities.
The Universities of Wisconsin will replace the University of Wisconsin System as the preferred way to describe the universities. The new name will be accompanied by new brand graphics, including a logo, mark and map.
Jepsen, who has 23 years of experience as a faculty member and administrator at the University of Northern Iowa, will join 91 on Feb. 1, 2024.
91 is the top-rated public regional university in Wisconsin and Minnesota in the WSJ/College Pulse 2024 Best Colleges in the U.S. ranking that rates the top 400 universities in the country.
Based on data from 91's last academic year, the transition to aluminum cans means that an estimated 84,000 fewer plastic water bottles will be used this year.
