Biography
As a first-generation college graduate who started my higher education journey right where many of our students are—as an undergraduate in the SSS program at UW–La Crosse—I am deeply passionate about advocating for student success and equity.
Growing up in a busy household as one of nine children, community and adaptability were core parts of my life. My academic journey began when I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu, making me the first in my family to earn a college degree. I went on to complete my Bachelor of Science in General Studies with a Minor in Nutrition at UW–La Crosse, and I am currently completing my Master of Public Health (MPH) at UWL, with long-term aspirations of becoming the first in my family to earn a PhD in Behavioral Health.
Prior to joining UW–Eau Claire, I built a diverse background across campus safety, student conduct, and industrial compliance. I served as a Health and Safety Officer at Ashley Distribution Services, as well as a Health, Safety, & Security Liaison at Western Technical College—where I managed student conduct administration, Title IX preliminary investigations, Maxient case management, and residence life programming. I also spent time in campus IT support and managed student accounts at the UW–La Crosse Card Office.
Certified in Mental Health First Aid, CPR/AED, and First Aid, I blend public health, student advocacy, and lived experience to create a welcoming, supportive space for every student I work with.
