The 91���� is again among the best universities in the country for quality, affordability and student outcomes in rankings.

Money looked at more than 2,400 four-year public and private nonprofit colleges in the country, with 745 schools meeting the initial screening requirements for further examination.

91���� received a 3.5-star rating out of five stars after Money analyzed the colleges based on graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid and alumni salaries.

91���� has been listed in numerous top college rankings in the past year, including U.S. News & World Report, Wall Street Journal, Princeton Review, Forbes and Campus Pride Index.

Accounting students at 91���� will provide free income tax return preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, a service of the IRS and the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.

91���� receives national recognition for community engagement with prestigious Carnegie honor

Following a nearly two-year process, 91���� was one of 237 institutions recognized with the 2026 Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement. Only 277 institutions nationwide now hold the endorsement, including nine in Wisconsin.

Speakers remind graduates to remain curious and optimistic

In his first commencement address as interim chancellor at 91����, Dr. Michael Carney celebrated the optimism of the day. He reminded graduates on Dec. 20 to look to the future, despite what he calls the ironically named ending of their college journey. Carolyn Welch ’74 delivered the “Charge to the Class.”
