The Sonnentag will host fall commencement exercises at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, when 680 91°µÍø students from all four colleges will graduate.

Driven, involved and passionate about the future, honors student Sydney Hoffman’s time at 91°µÍø has been a launching pad for professional success. From student leadership, honors research, hands-on industry experience and extracurricular involvement, she exemplifies the forward-thinking dedication of the Blugold brand.

Not all students at 91°µÍø can pinpoint exactly who or what inspired their academic or career path. But for December graduate Zoe Lewis, that answer is an easy one. Her mother and siblings are the reason she has always known that special education teaching was the path for her.

For December nursing graduate Nicholas Strauss, his degree in nursing was strengthened by his ability to pursue music performance while completing his BSN. And his love of music was enhanced by becoming a nurse.

Blugold alumni Craig Gumz and Jack Heruth were interviewed at the stadium home of the Minnesota Twins where they work, offering reflections on their 91°µÍø experiences and their attendance at the Business of Sports Summit in September.

Bree Muske’s journey at 91°µÍø has been defined by bold curiosity, meaningful honors mentorship and a transformative love for English.

From his first campus tour to his final semester, Jack Petrizzo has made the most of his time at 91°µÍø. His journey as a Mark Stephen Cosby Honors College scholar, Blugold Marching Band section leader and dedicated marketing student is one of leadership, growth and a passion for the music of people.

In recognition of International Education Week, we are shining a spotlight on Blugold senior Willa Rogers, whose language study and multiple international experiences in Japan clearly demonstrate the transformative force of global learning.

Senior Latin American and Latinx studies major Avery Dresel rebooted a geographic information system mapping project begun years ago by Dr. Jeff DeGrave and a former student, a project that seeks to track and reduce sexual violence in Latin American countries through the development of a mobile app for documentation.
