Intro

The Conveyance Van provides on-call and pre-scheduled service between campus buildings for 91�� students attending classes with mobility disabilities, whether temporary or permanent. Eligibility is based on medical need only. There is no fixed shuttle route or an hourly schedule.

You will be required to provide a written Doctor’s note or SSD office referral within one week of the first ride.

Operating hours are Monday-Thursday: 7:40 AM-9:00 PM and Fridays: 7:40 AM-5:00 PM.

Rides will not be offered during Spring Break, Winterim, or Summer.

Scheduling Rides

To start the ride service, please call the parking office at 715 836 2544.
Ride times will be determined by the Parking Office with first come first serve around availability.
Typically, rides will be offered on the 10s, 20s, 30s, and 40s of every hour. (For example: 9:10, 9:20, 9:30, 9:40.) Please note, if your class starts at 8:00 AM, rides will be offered at 7:40 AM and 7:45 AM.
If you have an evening class, the Conveyance van will run from 5:00 PM - 8:50 PM Monday-Thursday. 8:50 PM will be the last ride time.
A confirmed rider pick-up and drop-off schedule will be communicated to you via email.
The Conveyance Van transports between campus buildings and residence halls only. Aspenson Mogensen building is included while the Priory, Haymarket Landing, and Sonnentag buildings are not.

Late and No-Show Policies

Please be on time. We have a set schedule for all of our riders.
To help ensure riders are picked up/dropped off on schedule, our drivers will wait no more than 3 minutes after a scheduled pick-up time, before considering the rider a no-show.
Any rider with three no shows will be contacted by the Parking Office and may lose all riding privileges. Your next option would be to utilize the provided city transit with your Blugold ID.

Van Capacity and Ride Share Information

Please be aware that you may not be the only student in the van during your ride time. We can accommodate up to 4 students at one time.
Please be aware that we accommodate individuals with service dogs and wheelchairs. If you have an allergy to pets, please reach out prior to your ride start date.
Our parking conveyance van is a red Chrysler Pacifica van reads "Parking and Transportation" on side. At times, we may use our small white Suki shuttle or another university vehicle for rides if our parking van is experiencing mechanical issues. We will generally attempt to reach out via email if something changes temporarily. If you are not sure, do not get in the vehicle. Call our parking office at 715 836 2544.

What do I do if I am going to miss a ride?

Contact the Parking Office at (715) 836-2544. Parking must be contacted via phone 30 minutes in advance to cancel in order to avoid any penalties. If you do not require a previously scheduled evening ride, you MUST contact the Parking Office to cancel prior to 4:30 PM.

In the evenings, please still call the Parking Office phone number. The phone will automatically transfer to the evening van driver.
