Enabling Excellence. Every Day.

Intro

91's mission is to foster creativity, critical insight, empathy, and intellectual courage in one another. That mission happens in classrooms, labs, studios, and research spaces, but it depends on something less visible: a campus that is safe, well-maintained, financially sound, and staffed by people who care.

The Division of Finance and Administration provides that foundation.

Our Commitment

Every decision we make — from how we design a building to how we hire an employee to how we manage a contract — is guided by our goal to serve our students and support the work of teaching and learning at 91.

Our Departments

Every course taught, every research project supported, and every student service offered at 91 depends on sound financial stewardship. We translate 91's mission priorities into fiscal reality.

Children’s Nature Academy

By providing high-quality, nature-based care and education for the children of students, employees, and community members, we remove one of the most significant barriers standing between families and the pursuit of a college degree.

Facilities

From the classroom where a breakthrough idea takes shape to the lab where discovery happens, we maintain the physical spaces where 91's mission comes to life — every building, every system, every day.

Human Resources

91's mission begins with "we foster in one another". Building that community begins with recruiting, supporting, and retaining the talented faculty and staff who make a transformative education possible.

By ensuring that every dollar spent on goods and services goes as far as possible, we protect and extend 91's capacity to invest in teaching, research, and student success.

Risk Management, Safety & Sustainability

A safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible campus isn't just an operational goal, it's the foundation on which academic freedom, experiential learning, and open inquiry can confidently stand.

From processing the payments that keep the university running to supporting the grants that fuel faculty research, we safeguard the financial integrity that makes everything else at 91 possible.

University Police

Ensures the safety and security of the campus community. Programs like SafeWalk and SafeRide reflect our core belief that every student deserves to move through campus without fear, because inclusion means nothing if people don't feel safe.

Sonnentag Event Center & Fieldhouse

More than an event and recreation center, The Sonnentag supports student wellness, powers Blugold athletics, and opens the university's doors to the Eau Claire community.
