An Entertainment Tradition!

Each semester, UAC presents a film nearly every weekend on campus. Each slate of titles offers a wide variety of quality films, both classics and recent award-winners, so students and community members can all find something they will enjoy. Each film is combined with special programming that complements the storyline and provides a different twist on classic cinema.

Film Screening Information

Use the link below to see our full series lineup, dates, and movie descriptions. Start times are accurate but close times will vary depending on the movie's runtime so estimated close times are listed. All UAC Films are free to students, faculty/staff, and community members.

*Movies held on the Campus Mall will use Woodland Theater in Davies Center as a rain site. 

Naked Gun - Sept. 4th | Davies Amphitheater 8:00pm

(PG-13) Following in his father's footsteps, a detective works to solve a murder case and save his police department from closure.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Sept. 11 | Woodland Theater 7:00pm

(PG-13) A brash, cocky high school senior, tired of skipping school to spend a boring day at home, is determined to enjoy an epic day roaring around his favorite Chicago sites, enlisting his best friend and girlfriend to join him on the adventure.

Freaky Friday - Sept. 18th | Woodland Theater 7:00pm

(PG) Dr. Tess Coleman and her daughter, Anna, do not get along with each other. However, things take a turn when, in a freak accident, they switch bodies and are forced to live each other's lives.

The Animal Kingdom - Oct. 9 | Woodland Theater 7:00pm

(2023) An adventure between a father and his son, in a world where some humans have started mutating into other animal species.

Shrek - oct. 17th | Woodland Theater 7:00pm

(PG) A mean lord exiles fairytale creatures to the swamp of a grumpy ogre, who must go on a quest and rescue a princess for the lord in order to get his land back.

Rocky Horror - Oct. 30th | Woodland Theater 7:00pm

(R) A rain-soaked couple take refuge in the castle of a transvestite mad scientist from outer space who is about to unveil his greatest creation.

The Princess Bride - Nov. 6th | Woodland Theater 7:00pm

(PG) A bedridden boy's grandfather reads him the story of a farmboy-turned-pirate who encounters numerous obstacles, enemies and allies in his quest to be reunited with his true love.

The Dark Knight - Nov. 20th | Woodland Theater 7:00pm

(PG-13) When a menace known as the Joker wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham, Batman, James Gordon and Harvey Dent must work together to put an end to the madness.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Day - Dec. 11th | Woodland Theater 7:00pm

(PG-13) An advertising executive and ladies' man, to win a big campaign, bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days.

International Film Society

For nearly 60 years the 91 International Film Society has represented a wide variety of countries that bring about a better understanding of other peoples and cultures, and instill a lifelong appreciation for the art of film.
