Okta Verify is 91°µÍø’s current multi-factor authentication (MFA) system, designed to add an extra layer of security when accessing campus accounts and systems. It helps protect your personal and university data by requiring a second step—such as a push notification or verification code—during login. This security step requires all UWEC students and employees to download the OKTA app or use a token.

Your Blugold Mobile ID is your official UWEC Student ID—now conveniently stored on your phone or smartwatch. It provides access to campus buildings, dining services, library checkout, and more. Students who wish to have a physical Student ID will be charged $15.

Access your UWEC email and calendar through the webmail button found on the myBlugold portal. Use your UWEC credentials to log in to webmail. If you prefer to use the desktop application of Microsoft Outlook, see the Downloading Office 365 Software article below.

If there should ever be an emergency that would affect campus, the campus emergency notification system would alert you from several campus systems (email, webpage, University computers). A notification can also be sent to your personal cell phone and non-University email address.

91°µÍø offers secure wireless access across campus through multiple networks, including UWEC and eduroam, ensuring students, faculty, and staff stay connected in academic buildings, residence halls, outdoor spaces, and even select off-campus, community locations (such as the Pablo Center, Sonnentag Center, Hobbs Ice Arena, Bollinger Field, and Carson Park).

There are a variety of options relating to WiFi access depending on campus access:

• Campus Guests can use the UWECguest network.  Select "UWECguest" on your device, enter in your email address, and click Accept the Terms of Service.
• UWECdevices is a network available for devices that will not support the security level of the UWEC WiFi network. Please go to  to register a MAC address for your devices.
• UWECreshalls is a network available for student devices in the Residence Halls that will not support the security level of the UWEC WiFi network (TVs, gaming systems, etc). Please go to  to register a MAC address for these devices.

91°µÍø's FollowMe Multifunction Devices (MFDs) offer a secure and flexible solution for printing, copying, and scanning across campus. With the FollowMe Printer, you can send print jobs from any device and release them at any FollowMe MFD, ensuring convenience and privacy. Each student receives a $20 printing credit per semester, covering typical printing needs.

CampS (Campus Solutions) is the official student information system at 91°µÍø, where you manage everything from class registration to financial aid. As a student, you’ll use CampS to enroll in courses, view your schedule, check grades, track degree progress, and manage billing and payments—all in one place. Direct access to CampS can be found on the myBlugold Portal. As an instructor, you’ll use CampS to access course schedules, class rosters and student information, and submit grades.

OneDrive is 91°µÍø’s cloud-based file storage solution included with your Office 365 account. It allows you to securely store, access, and share your files from any device, facilitating seamless collaboration on documents and projects. It is also integrated with Canvas. With up to 1 TB of personal storage, OneDrive ensures your academic materials are always within reach. To easily access OneDrive, go to onedrive.uwec.edu in your internet browser and log in using your UWEC username and password.

Office 365 is a free, cloud-based service provided to all 91°µÍø students, faculty, and staff. It offers access to essential Microsoft applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive across multiple devices. With Office 365, you can collaborate in real-time, store up to 1 TB of files securely in the cloud, and install the latest Office software on up to five personal devices.

Additionally, students have access to discounted or free software through platforms like Office 365 and the OnTheHub Software Store. These resources ensure that students are equipped with the necessary technology to support their academic endeavors.

Throughout the university, there are a variety of computer stations available for student use. Students have 24/7 lab access in Vicki Lord Larson, Room 1132. The Virtual Lab lets students use academic software from off campus. Additionally, McIntyre Library offers computer access for students and community members on multiple floors, with desktop workstations and group study stations. Students can also borrow laptops, iPads, and other devices through the Student Equipment Checkout program.
