Just ask any SSS participant — it's the staff who make the difference. Meet the dedicated individuals who have made it their life's work to ensure the success of all students.
I’ve worked with first-generation, low-income, underrepresented, dual enrollment, ESL, and students with learning challenges for over 20 years. As a first-generation student myself, I overcame numerous obstacles to earn a Ph.D. I look forward to sharing my experiences and helping SSS students achieve their academic and professional goals.
As the Student Services Coordinator for Student Support Services (SSS) and a proud first-generation SSS alumna, I know firsthand how transformative campus support programs are. Growing up in a large family of nine, I learned the value of community early on. I draw on my background in student support, campus safety, and health operations from my time at UW–La Crosse and Western Technical College to help Blugolds navigate their academic journey, connect with campus resources, and achieve their personal and professional goals.
